- The Ancient Hore Abbey – Cashel, County TipperaryA walk through Hore Abbey in the town of Cashel is fantastic. The abbey sits behind and below the much more famous Rock of Cashel. In my experience, Hore Abbey is so much more special and enjoyable to explore. Lots to see and far fewer people. Quiet.
